How to Post a Public Service or Social Justice Event or Volunteer Opportunity

Dwight Hall Member Groups and Community Guests can easily contribute posts to the Dwight Hall website.  You may post volunteer opportunities, events, public interest announcements, or employment opportunities in the social sector for Dwight Hall students and recent graduates, by registering a WordPress account that is unique to the www.dwighthall.org website.

Dwight Hall at Yale retains the right to remove postings that violate its anti-discrimination policies or postings that do not relate to public service or social justice.

Step 1: Register your own dwighthall.org WordPress username and password

Step 3: Choose an Appropriate Category

Dwight Hall will review posts to ensure that they are categorized correctly and add tags to ensure that posts get included in relevant e-newsletters.

Please check the appropriate box under the “Categories” menu – either EVENTS or OPPORTUNITIES.

Note: If you are posting an event, we ask that you include Month and Date (eg Oct 14) in the headline of your post to avoid confusion as WordPress publishes the date a post was created.
