Time: 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM
When: Friday, November 2nd
Location: Chapel Divinity School
Interested in participating in service for a day? Join students at the Yale Divinity School for a day of service. The day of service will begin with mass at the Divinity School Chapel, followed by lunch and work at service sites, and conclude with post-service reflection.
Undergraduate students are welcome to join at any point during the day. Particularly:
- If they have a group that already does service on Friday afternoons.
- At any point during lunch.
Post-reflection will be up to each group on their own, however, everyone is welcome to have coffee, hot chocolate, and cider in the Divinity School Common Room after service is completed.
Current service sites include: Christian Community Action, Fellowship Place, Amistad Catholic Worker House, Chapel Haven, the Eli Whitney Museum, and the New Haven Food Bank.
Schedule of events:
10:30 – 11:15 AM – Chapel at the Divinity School
11:30 – 12:15 AM – Lunch at the Divinity School
12:15 – 4:00 PM – Service at Placement Sites
4:00 – TBD – Post-reflection at the Divinity School
