Volunteers Needed for Columbus House 2012 Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 6, 7:00am – 9:30am

Columbus House is seeking a few volunteers to serve as hosts during its Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 6, from 7:00am – 9:30am.  Volunteers will assist guests at the registration table and direct guests to the appropriate meeting room.  The meeting will be held at the New Haven Lawn Club (193 Whitney Avenue), across from the Peabody Museum.  Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn more about the range of Columbus House’s services and also receive a full hot breakfast.

Since 1982, Columbus House, along with its core of loyal supporters, friends and volunteers has remained committed to fulfilling its mission: “To serve people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, by providing shelter and by fostering their personal growth and independence.”
