Camp Kesem

Mission: 

Camp Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer.

Camp Kesem Yale was founded in 2013 and provides free summer camps for children touched by a parent’s cancer in the greater Connecticut area.

Summary of Activities: 

Camp Kesem supports children through and beyond a parent’s cancer with innovative, fun-filled programs that foster a lasting community. Driven by passionate college student leaders, Camp Kesem operates over 70 free summer camps in 33 states.

Camp Kesem at Yale is operated by around 40 student volunteers and serves 100 campers ages 6-16 per year.
