Event description:

Go South Summer is a new fellowship opportunity for
current first-years, sophomores, and juniors at Yale. Started by three Yale
undergrads who call the South home, the program is committed to sharing the
region’s diverse people, places, challenges, and solutions with southerners
and non-southerners alike. This summer, Go South is launching a pilot site in
Savannah, GA, where they have partnered with a network of nonprofits to
provide internships in legal aid, environmental conservation, public health,
racial justice, and poverty reduction, among others. Come to the Chick-Fil-A
Launch Event on Monday, December 11th at 7pm in LC 211 to learn more about
funding, the application process, and eat delicious Chick-Fil-A nuggets!
