LEAP: Looking for AmeriCorps Members for Literacy Corps Summer Program

Summary of Opportunity: 

This summer LEAP will hire 50 AmeriCorps Members to implement our comprehensive literacy and social development curriculum for children ages 7 to 12.  If you are a college or grad student willing to work hard, be a role model, and committed to working as a team to strengthen our neighborhoods then you should apply to be a LEAP Literacy Corps Member.

Training begins mid-June and the program runs through July and August.  AmeriCorps Members receive a biweekly living allowance, housing, and an educational award after the service is completed.
