Bio: At Yale, Onyeka is the director of innovation at Dwight Hall This involves managing, and growing the Social Innovation Lab; developing resources, trainings, and partnerships to support a cohort of students dedicating themselves to creating social change; working closely with the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking and serves as Dwight Hall’s representative on the Yale Social Entrepreneurship Collaborative; and developing a series of events that bring together Yale and New Haven communities.
Outside Yale, Onyeka’s work spans community development, social entrepreneurship, and civic consulting. He recently moved from President and Co-Founder of A Happy Life, a social enterprise dedicated to creating a happier world for all, to Managing Partner at Breakfast Lunch & Dinner, a civic consultancy building community development through social engagement. Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors Onyeka consulted for Special Olympics International and built out a Corporate Social Responsibility program at a startup nutrition company; after graduating with a Economics degree from the University of Connecticut.
