International Affairs

Open

No Lost Generation Yale is part of the global response to the child refugee crisis created by the conflict in Iraq and Syria. Millions of children have been displaced from their homes, exposed to traumatic violence, and disrupted in their schooling. Unless they are given access to the resources needed to obtain basic education and forge productive futures, the world is at risk of losing an entire generation of youth who are growing up as refugees. In response to this crisis, NLG-Yale is working to provide school-age Syrian refugees with access to education, psychosocial support, mentorship opportunities and the tools to build stable and successful futures. Our vision is to form sustainable support networks for Syrian youth in an effort to prevent a lost generation.
