Public Catalyst is an innovative national organization established to partner with child welfare and human services stakeholders who want to improve outcomes for children and their families. Public Catalyst provides a range of services including short-term strategic analysis and crisis management; mediation and monitoring; planning and implementation support; and management and leadership coaching. Public Catalyst specializes in helping system stakeholders diagnose and solve challenges; design and implement new approaches that improve child, family and staff experiences; and identify bright spots in local practice which can be leveraged into system change. Specifically, Public Catalyst is committed to data-driven processes designed to identify policies and practices that impact the children and families who experience the child welfare system. This Associate will gather data; track, analyze, and report the quantitative and qualitative information we need to do our Managing by Data (MbD) work; collect best practice and research; chart, track and report progress in client jurisdictions; as needed, provide on-site support to Public Catalyst staff during client engagements; and engage in calendaring and other support work as required. We are seeking to fill a position in our New York City office.
