FOCUS on New Haven is looking for group leaders and support crew members for its 2023 program! Our participants volunteer with local community organizations, take part in discussions/events about how systems of oppression/gentrification/policing/etc. play out in New Haven, and learn together how to be active participants in the city and imagine just futures with our neighbors.
We’re looking for leaders and support crew members who have interest in or experience with community engagement, and who are eager to engage in discussions around social justice, university-city relations, the power dynamics of service, and so forth.
