Disability Peer Mentor Program Applications Now Open!

Summary of Opportunity:

The Disability Peer Mentor Program, now in its fifth year, is accepting applications for 2021-2022 Peer Mentors! We’re looking for students who have experience with disability — including but not limited to physical disability, chronic illness, learning disability, mental illness, temporary disability, vision impairment or blindness, and hearing loss or d/Deafness — and who feel comfortable guiding others who may be having similar experience during their time at Yale.

Time commitment varies by time of year, averaging 2 hours per week, capped at 4 hours per week, paid at a rate of $18.50/hour. The application is available at https://tinyurl.com/DPMP2021 and will be due April 9th at 11:59 PM. If you’re interested in requesting a mentor for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school, visit https://tinyurl.com/2020DisabilityPeerMentor.
