The Yale chapter of Engineers Without Borders is a Dwight Hall Member Group who partners with communities in the developing world to implement sustainable engineering projects to improve their quality of life. EWB-Yale is preparing for a trip in May to Rohvitangitaa (Roh), Cameroon to assess the implementation of a water catchment and distribution system. The assessment trip will end a five-year commitment with the community. The system currently provides potable water to all of Roh’s over 1,200 residents. In addition to working abroad, the group hopes to increase engagement with the Yale campus and New Haven community through public events and school outreach programs.
