ArtLinks: View and Respond to Incarcerated Artists’ Work

Event time:
Thursday, February 25, 2021 - 6:00pm
Event description:

Are you interested in the transformative power of the arts within the carceral context?

Please join the Yale Undergraduate Prison Project on Thurs Feb. 25th from 6-7pm EST for ArtLinks, a virtual event inviting audiences to view, engage, and respond to art from incarcerated artists. Afterward, participants can write response letters which mailed to their respective artists. The letters that incarcerated artists receive from ArtLinks events bring hope and validation while inspiring them to continue creating. ArtLinks is cohosted by The Justice Arts Coalition (JAC), a national network providing information and resources for people creating art in and around the US carceral system.
