SUMMARY:YHHAP Fast Fall 2023 Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The YHHAP Fast is the largest student-run fundraiser on Yale’s campus. Once every semester over 25% of Yale’s student body donates their Yale Dining meal swipes for the day of the Fast. This year\, the Fast will be held on November 17\, 2023.  \n\n\n\nThis semester\, the YHHAP Fast is fundraising to support four New Haven organizations doing critical on-the-ground work to alleviate food and housing insecurity: New Reach\, NICE Center\, Project Access\, and Sunrise Cafe.

Our advocacy has resulted in far more humane\, student-centered policies for those with mental health disabilities and those needing to take time away for urgent health needs. Engage with a panel of students and alumni about their own lived experience\, participate in a raffle of gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses\, enjoy free pizza\, and listen to a special performance from The New Blue of Yale! Register here. \n\n\n\nElis for Rachael runs a student fund which has directly helped students with therapy\, medical co-pays\, educational expenses\, housing\, transportation\, and other basic needs that arise around taking a medical leave of absence.
