The Board of Directors is ultimately responsible for the fiscal and long-term operation of Dwight Hall. The Board’s membership consists of Dwight Hall alumni, Yale professors, members of the New Haven community and current Dwight Hall student representatives.
Staff members work closely with the student Executive Committee, inspired by the mission of the Hall, to preserve institutional memory and manage the non-profit organization. They serve as advisors to students in all the various aspects of the work of Dwight Hall, including program development, education and training, program management, Yale and community partnerships, public relations, finances, or fundraising.
Dwight Hall at Yale is governed by a cabinet comprised of representatives of each constituent group. Each year, the Cabinet elects a Student Executive Committee to fulfill the day-to-day operations of Dwight Hall. In additional to management, Cabinet acts as the ethos of Dwight Hall, voting in new Member Groups, debating service policy, and passing Resolutions.
Dwight Hall Student Cabinet is the largest organized body of students on Yale’s campus.
