The City of New Haven and Junta for Progressive Action (Junta) are working with families impacted by Hurricane Maria, who have relocated to New Haven from Puerto Rico and other Caribbean Islands.
Junta is in need of bi-lingual (Spanish and English) volunteers to help evacuees with the FEMA application process, 211 and referrals to other basic needs services. Support is needed preferably for two or more shifts. Volunteers will likely be needed into the new year.
