2019 YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship

Summary of Opportunity: 

Dwight Hall is now accepting student applications for the YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship.  Space is extremely limited.

The YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship will:

  • Provide funding up to $4,000 with no geographic restrictions
  • Pair students with mentors 
  • Offering additional networking and career opportunities in the social change sector
  • Assist students in identifying housing and local resources whenever possible

The ideal applicant for the YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship will:

  • Be a current Yale senior, OR have previously used the Domestic Summer Award (DSA), OR be otherwise ineligible for the DSA despite financial need
  • Come from a traditionally underrepresented population, ideally low-SES or 1st gen
  • Have a financial need, usually receiving financial aid from Yale University
  • Have a strong desire for exposure to careers in the social change sector
  • Be willing to improve the YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship with follow-up interviews and discussions with YANA and Dwight Hall stakeholders
