YPEI plans inmate teaching program

Yale Prison Education Initiative at Dwight Hall seeks to expand upon existing Yale programming in correctional facilities by offering Yale courses to incarcerated students in Connecticut.  Yale Daily News featured YPEI on April 27, 2017.

“’There are a lot of people in prison who are ready for educational opportunity and who are not given access to extremely high quality liberal arts education, and so Yale teaching is something that can do that,’ Zelda Roland, Director of YPEI at Dwight Hall at Yale | Center for Public Service and Social Justice, said.”
