Join us for an engaging workshop designed for aspiring nonprofit leaders with Tsai CITY and Dwight Hall. We will delve into the essential elements of crafting a compelling case for support for your nonprofit organization and how to build programming within that. Throughout this workshop, we will guide you in creating a mission and vision statement that vividly communicates the community you aim to serve.

​Our interactive sessions will go beyond theory, allowing you to roll up your sleeves, outline concrete activities, and design programs that exemplify your organization’s mission. By the end of this workshop, you will leave with a clear roadmap, complete with defined activities and outcomes, all intricately linked to your social impact mission. This toolkit will empower you to take meaningful steps toward making a positive change in your community through your nonprofit initiatives.

​Bio

​Rosalind ‘Roz’ Zavras is a seasoned nonprofit operations expert with over 15 years of experience in global and local social impact organizations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and a Master’s Degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Roz is an alumna of the Public Policy and International Affairs Program and has received prestigious awards, including the Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship and the Fulbright Research Fellowship. She also holds certifications from Netsuite and Xero.

​Throughout her career, Roz has been dedicated to optimizing nonprofit back-office operations, allowing organizations to enhance their fundraising efforts and broaden their impact. She’s a tech-savvy problem solver with a track record of securing and managing over $2 million in grants, and her professional values prioritize equity and transparency. Roz’s commitment to the nonprofit sector is unwavering, and she continues to shape a brighter future as the Board Chair of Emergent Works and through her work at the Center for Community Collaboration in Connecticut.
