Developing Leaders

With 100+ fellowship opportunities, the Student Executive Committee, First-Years in Support of New Haven, and Civic Allyship programming, Dwight Hall helps cultivate the next-generation of social change leaders.

Student Leaders

The Student Executive Committee is elected by Cabinet each fall, and is charged with the management of all Cabinet activities and effective support of Dwight Hall at Yale as a nonprofit institution.

First-Years in Support of New Haven

First-Years in Support of New Haven (FIS-NH) aims to introduce first-years to the city of New Haven through community speaker events, sustainable community engagement, and service. FISers spend 1-2 hours per week participating in discussions and learning from local non-profit leaders in New Haven.

Civic Allyship

The Civic Allyship Initiative is both a platform to help students thoughtfully relate to local organizing and an effort to redirect resources to New Haven community leaders.
