Part I. Networking for Good: Finding Contacts and Connecting in Common Good Careers

Join this in person, interactive session with Dwight Hall and Yale’s Office of Career Strategy (OCS) on how to find and connect with alumni working in common good careers. Robyn Acampora from OCS will share a variety of tools to help you find alumni and offer advice on how to engage with them, from sending the initial email request, planning talking points for an informational call, and how to continue the relationship beyond that first call.

Students are encouraged (but definitely not required) to bring lists of employers they are interested to work on finding contacts during this working group session. Attendees can expect to leave this workshop with a specific plan of how to find the alums at organizations they are interested in and what the next steps involve.

The event will take place in Dwight Hall’s SJN Room (Room 211). From Old Campus, enter through the lobby doors to the right of the chapel and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.
