Reading Group – The Autobiography of Malcolm X

February 5 @ 4:30 pm 6:00 pm

2025 marks 100 years since the birth of Malcolm X El Hajj Malik El Shabazz. It’s an important anniversary and an opportunity for us to deeply engage his vision, life and activism so it can enrich and inform our work in the world today – especially in this time of mass death, social fracture, and climate catastrophe. Alongside Brother Malcolm, we will also explore the legacies of Dr. Betty Shabazz and other transformative personalities who emerged next to and near him .

Join us on 02/12, 02/26, 03/05, and 03/26 from 4:30-6pm as we launch a deep dive into the Autobiography of Malcolm X, 4:30 pm at Yale’s Humanities Quadrangle, Room HQ 107 (320 York Street, New Haven) – all are welcome, especially our friends from the New Haven community! This is part of the “MX100: Why Malcolm? Why Today?” series of programs. Watch out for more announcements soon!

Join us even if you haven’t started reading the Autobiography yet.
