Volunteering 101: Fundamentals

Dwight Hall is launching a Volunteering 101 series to provide greater support for student exploration of volunteer opportunities and to equip students with tools for the effective practice of service. 

Our first workshop – Fundamentals of Volunteering – will take place on Friday, 1/26 at 3pm. The first 45 minutes will feature an overview of Dwight Hall, discuss ways to find opportunities, tailor interests, plan for realistic commitments, and develop habits of reflective practice. 

The second part of the workshop will entail a group service project assembling personal care kits for those experiencing homelessness and taking inventory of supplies for future kits. Register here!
