Mission
Link New Haven seeks to bridge the information deficit between social service providers and disadvantaged residents. We partner with local agencies to operate free and accessible community resource desks across New Haven and develop comprehensive resource guides.

Activities
Link New Haven Resource Desk Direct Service Link New Haven operates resource desks around the community, helping connect clients with resources related to housing, employment, health care, legal aid, etc. Community Resource Desk Direct Service During the Fall 2024 semester, Link New Haven organized a community resource desk on Saturday afternoons at the southeast corner of the New Haven Green. Additionally, we partnered with the Trinity Chapel Green program to provide support on Sunday afternoons. Our table volunteers use our internally developed database of New Haven social services to connect clients with essential resources. In the Spring semester, we plan to expand our hosting sites. Link New Haven Resource Desk Direct Service Link New Haven hosts a resource desk on a weekly basis to support vulnerable members of the New Haven community by providing social services resources. We currently partner with the Trinity Chapel on the Green and plan to expand to more community sites. Resource Desk Direct Service Link New Haven operates free and accessible resource desks with partner organizations, offering a wide array of information including on housing, basic needs, employment, health care, and legal aid. Resource Guides Research & Public Policy Analysis Link New Haven is in the process of compiling digital resource guides for all of the following categories: Adult Education and Literacy, Reentry and Recovery, Immigration and Legal Aid, Health and Medical, Family and Youth, Basic Needs, Employment, Housing, and Senior and Disability. Resource Guide Development Research & Public Policy Analysis Link New Haven is currently working to develop nine comprehensive resource guides covering the following social service areas: Adult Education and Literacy, Basic Needs, Employment, Family and Youth, Health and Medical, Housing, Legal and Immigrant, Reentry and Recovery, and Senior and Disability. Link New Haven Resource Guide Creation Research & Public Policy Analysis Link New Haven is currently spearheading the creation in project teams of eight resource guides to streamline resources in New Haven: Adult Education and Literacy, Employment, Family and Youth, Health and Medicine, Housing, Legal and Immigration, Reentry and Recovery, Senior and Disability.
