Position Description:

Dwight Hall at Yale seeks to connect students of all Yale schools to volunteer opportunities in New Haven.

Dwight Hall is partnering with Sunrise Cafe to provide volunteers for the breakfast service each Wednesday at St. Paul & St. James Church.

The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting volunteers for this weekly service opportunity and will lead the team of 5-10 volunteers each Wednesday from 6:30 am to 9:00am. This position will have cross-platform access to our database and communications tools and will work closely with the Dwight Hall staff, programs, and member groups. This position will manage communications with students interested in volunteering and with Sunrise Cafe and ensure the needs of the volunteers and the partner are met. This position will also seek to identify Yale staff affinity groups, graduate and professional students, Yale Club of New Haven and other volunteers to serve when undergraduates are unavailable, such as during Spring Recess.

Hours: 5-10 hrs/week

Wage: $15.60/hr
