Position Description:

Dwight Hall is seeking a Communications Visual Content Creator and Photographer to assist with a variety of the Hall’s social justice and public service communications goals.

Principal responsibilities will include: photographing Dwight Hall events and spaces; organizing Dwight Hall’s cloud-based photo library and curating photos for specific publications (Year in Reviews, Voices and Stories, etc.); creating print and web visual content about Dwight Hall and public service at Yale and in New Haven to be shared with Dwight Hall’s vast student and alumni network; and participating in weekly communications brainstorming sessions.

The content creator may assist in other communications projects including creating posters, videos, and other digital content. This is a great opportunity to gain experience creating visual content and working with a fast-paced team dedicated to increasing the visibility of under-heard, invisible, or otherwise marginalized voices and stories. The position will largely be remote work with the possibility of in-person meetings.

Hours: 5-10 per week

Wage: $15
