VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) is a nationwide program run by the IRS. Volunteers provide free tax prep services to low-income clients. No tax knowledge needed to volunteer! We provide training for preparers, and volunteers can also work the front desk. VITA is a great way to meet new people, learn how taxes work, and get money back into the community. We got over $2 million back into the local community in tax refunds last year and can’t wait to do the same this year.
