4/2 New Haven Week of the Young Child Kick-Off Festival Volunteers Needed!

Date/time: Sunday, 4/2 @ 10AM-1 PM.

Location: Scantlebury Park (139 Ashmun Street, New Haven — next to the Health Center & Murray)

Description:
Every year, the City of New Haven and the Connecticut Children’s Museum host “The Little Read” literacy event as a part of the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s Week of the Young Child celebration. This year, the theme of The Little Read is “Community Helpers.”

The kickoff event will take place on Sunday, April 1=2nd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Scantlebury Park in New Haven. We need volunteers for set-up, clean-up, and during the event. Sign up to do a lot of fun activities with kids and promote early literacy in the city!
