Looking for part-time summer employment opportunities in the social sector? Dwight Hall at Yale is now hiring for three positions: Reunions Student Assistant, Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement Assistant, and Summer 2024 Editorial Writer.

1. Dwight Hall Reunions Student Assistant (Job ID: 33540)
Description: This is a short-term hire opportunity with Dwight Hall for $15.75/hr. We are looking for a student to support Dwight Hall programming during the upcoming Yale reunion weekends. You will be connecting with alumni during Dwight Hall’s open house and staffing the community service project the Hall runs during reunions. The time commitment will be roughly 30 hours in total (Friday, May 24th to Sunday, May 26th and Friday, May 31st to Sunday, June 2nd). In-person in New Haven.
2. Dwight Hall Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement Assistant (Job ID: 33542)
Description: Support Dwight Hall’s fundraising and alumni engagement efforts by handwriting letters to alumni and mailing publications like Dwight Hall’s 2023 Year in Review and Voices & Stories student magazine to annual fund donors. Priority will be given to a student who is available to work in May and June 2024, though the position may continue into July and August. 8-10/hrs week, $15.75/hr. In-person or hybrid in New Haven.
3. Dwight Hall Summer 2024 Editorial Writer (Job ID: 33544)
Description: Dwight Hall is seeking a Summer 2024 Editorial Writer to assist with a variety of the Hall’s social justice and public service communications goals from June through August 2024. Principal responsibilities will include: writing print and web content about Dwight Hall and public service at Yale and in New Haven; contributing two to three articles per month to Dwight Hall’s Alumni & Friends e-newsletter; and interviewing students, staff, and community partners. The Editorial Writer may assist in other communications projects including photographing summer events. Hybrid in New Haven or remote. 5-10 hrs/week, $16.25/hr.
