Bright Spaces embraces the visions of local businesses and organizations through creative empowerment. Our collaborations use the mission statements of community members to design and fulfill blueprints that ultimately lead to works of public art that brighten the spaces of today?s leaders and dreamers.

Activities
Celentano Mural Direct Service We will be painting a mural for the Leadership Academy by creating a piece that highlights the school’s community, neighborhood building mission. This mural is a large multi-paneled piece with student involvement on blueprinting and action. Leadership Mural at Celentano School Direct Service As Celentano School rebrands to the Leadership Academy, the painting of a mural with older students aims to center their voices and hopes for the future of their local communities. Global Climate Justice Awareness Advocacy or Activism We will create three banners focused on: Communities around the world Sierra Leone [1], Argentina[2], Bangladesh [3] Environmental justice – calling rich counties to address this Scene of Sierra Leone – climate change leader looking at the houses being washed away and working on this || Bring agency to those in the region – we need to support these people in Sierra Leone ? we need to join these leaders HSC & Bright Spaces: Spring ?25 Project Partnership Advocacy or Activism Mission: Create public art with students to elevate the social justice mission of High Schools in the Community (HSC) Bright Spaces will be pursuing a partnership with High Schools in the Community (HSC) to create a public art project that will cover the school?s exterior. This project will incorporate collaborating with high school students from Ben?s Black & Latina/o Studies class.
