West End House Girls Camp – Summer Counselor Opportunity

West End House Girls Camp (WEHGC) is an overnight summer camp for girls ages 7-17, located in Southern Maine on Wabanaki Confederacy land on the shores of Long Pond. The WEHGC experience is intentionally small, progressively multi-cultural, and 100% camper-focused.

The Camp is looking to hire summer counselors for the 2023 season. This is a paid opportunity for the on-site role in Maine. Below are additional details:

-Must be at least 18 years old by the start of staff training.
-Will teach their specialty for the entire summer unless otherwise assigned. They may have more than one assigned speciality.
-In addition to their specialty they will also be assigned electives to teach on a daily basis. Electives placement is not based on specialty.
-In addition to the specialty they will also co-lead a camper cabin with 10 campers.
-Be ready and excited to work with ages 7-17.
-Commit to a full season.

Start Date: July 3, 2023

End Date: July 28, 2023
