Intensive: Political Possibilities – Innovation From Local to Global

Learn more and apply here.

The Political Possibilities Intensive: Innovation From Local to Global is a community of practice in which students will collaborate with civic leaders to systemically analyze political issues to develop, refine, and propose innovative interventions.

During this cohort-based program, students will collaborate in small teams to apply frameworks and strategies from a series of interactive workshops based on four specific social issues, culminating in a final capstone presentation.

These interactive sessions will be facilitated by speakers who represent civic innovation at four different scales (local, state, national, and international) and whose work embodies four different lenses for civic change (community organizing, government, policy advocacy, and social entrepreneurship).

By participating in this intensive, students will:

Learn how to shift civic passion into political action through civic innovation

Develop an actionable, innovative intervention to a pressing civic issue

Build relationships with political stakeholders and community leaders

Receive support from the Tsai CITY to expand their innovative solution beyond the intensive
