MEDLIFE at Yale – an Undergraduate Organization

Mission

MEDLIFE is dedicated to empowering underserved communities locally and globally by addressing immediate healthcare needs and creating sustainable, long-term solutions through Service Learning Trips and community-driven projects. Partnering with communities in places like New Haven, Lima, Cusco, Riobamba, Tena, Kilimanjaro, and Tamarindo, we provide essential support in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Unlike traditional mission work, MEDLIFE focuses on sustainable change through projects such as building bridges, staircases, and clinics that improve access and safety, ensuring our impact endures beyond each visit. Our volunteers work alongside local leaders and medical professionals, addressing healthcare disparities on both micro (individual care) and macro (community development) levels, inspiring students to become advocates for lasting social and health equity.
