Our Mission:

The Yale Undergraduate Ethics Bowl's mission is to provide high school students exposure to ethical discussion, philosophy, and public speaking through a structured competition. We hope to give students the skills they need to engage in meaningful discourse on ethical issues that face the world today.

Our Activities:

US-China Education Initiative Direct Service This year, for the first time ever and in collaboration with Chinese student organizations on campus, we are planning to host a virtual ethics bowl competition between Chinese and New Haven students to promote cultural exchange and international awareness. Ethics Bowl High School Education Initiative Direct Service As part of our mission to educate our community about the importance of ethics, the Yale Undergraduate Society of Ethics works with public high school students in the New Haven/Connecticut area to educate them about ethics, ethical reasoning, and to prepare them for competition in Ethics Bowl. These initiatives are incredibly important in preparing students for competition and educating them, as ethics/philosophy education simply isn't present in most places.
