Urban Resources Initiative is seeking volunteers during Spring Break to help run Exploring Nature on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-5pm and on Saturdays 10am -12pm. Exploring Nature is a new program launched in November 2022 to get people outdoors to have fun and experience the benefits of being active in the woods. We accomplish this goal through hosting events out of the Trowbridge Environmental Center in East Rock Park. Participation is free and open to the public. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we will be hosting children coming directly from school, so there is some training required before volunteering.
