Mission

The Yale Undergraduate Remote Area Medical strives to democratize participation in the free healthcare clinics set up by the Remote Area Medical national organization. Our goal is to provide valuable experiences for healthcare professionals in addition to promoting quality healthcare for underserved communities.

Activities

Remote Area Medical Willimantic, CT Clinic Direct Service YURAM will be volunteering as general support volunteers at Remote Area Medical’s pop-up free medical and dental clinic in Willimantic. We will be assisting with patient registration, administrative, and other support roles to assist the medical professionals. YURAM General Body Meetings Social/Cultural/Team-Building We will hold monthly meetings as a group to go over topics including our plans for the semester, how to become more involved with clinical volunteering, and team bonding.
