Spring Symposium Advocacy or Activism Invites local high schoolers and members of the Yale community to present their researched passion projects and engage in discussion. Parternship with Nonprofit Ropka Advocacy or Activism Parntership with students from new york to bring them here. ROKPA’s work focuses especially on empowering disadvantaged children, and we would do educational workshops with them. We have already met with their board and their students would benefit from visiting here, and it aligns directly with UNICEFS mission. Yale UNICEF Fellowship Program Symposium Social/Cultural/Team-Building The Yale UNICEF Fellowship Program connects Yale students to students from under-resourced backgrounds to collaboratively pursue passion projects that align with UNICEF?s mission of promoting children?s rights and well-being. Fellows work to identify and address real challenges in their communities, creating meaningful, actionable impact. The program currently supports two cohorts: one comprised of students from New Haven Public Schools, and another made up of students referred through a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting young people with educational and resource opportunities. Through mentorship, guidance, and collaboration, the program empowers all participants to develop leadership skills, foster civic engagement, and drive positive change in their communities. This event is the symposium that highlights the work of the students.
