Beyond Bars

Our Mission:

Our mission is to address and prevent sexual misconduct in transitional houses and facilities for individuals reintegrating from prison, countering the passive public perception and insufficient pressure on the justice system that perpetuates a cycle of abuse with minimal accountability. We aim to create a supportive environment by sharing resources on consent, partnering with organizations for basic needs, and amplifying survivor voices while helping formerly incarcerated individuals engage more healthily and build a safe sexual culture through education and advocacy.
