Our Mission:
At the Cedarhurst School, our overarching mission is to create a secure and nurturing learning environment that fosters success for adolescents. We are committed to integrating educational and therapeutic interventions, aiming to facilitate emotional and social growth essential for a smooth transition back to the home school district. Our ultimate goal is to empower students to graduate from high school, pursue college education, secure gainful employment, and evolve into productive, caring members of the community.

Our Activities:
Engage with our Cedarhurst School Yale Group, a dynamic initiative that provides direct service through weekly mentorship and support for special needs students in the critical phase of transitioning into adulthood. Our focus lies on the holistic development of social skills and independence.

The mission of the Cedarhurst School is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment in which all adolescents can achieve success. The goal of the mission is to integrate education and therapeutic interventions to assist in the emotional and social growth necessary to transition back to the home school district, graduate from high school, attend college or obtain gainful employment and become productive, caring members of the community.



Our Activities:

Yale Group Weekly Meeting Direct Service Weekly one hour session with students in the Passage program at Cedarhurst School. Fun, informal social activities such as icebreakers, outdoor games, and interactive team games.
