Our Mission:
At First-Years in Support of New Haven, our mission is to foster meaningful connections among first-year Yale students while simultaneously engaging with the vibrant community of New Haven. We believe in the power of building relationships and exploring the rich tapestry of our city while also forging valuable connections with local leaders and community members.
Our primary goal is to unite passionate first-year students, providing them with opportunities to not only connect with one another but also to immerse themselves in the diverse culture and offerings of New Haven. Through our events and initiatives, we aim to create a supportive network where students can learn from each other, share experiences, and grow together.
By actively engaging with the community, we strive to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with New Haven leaders and residents. Through collaborative efforts and meaningful interactions, we aim to contribute positively to the fabric of New Haven while also gaining insights and perspectives that enrich our own experiences as students.
Join us in our mission to connect, explore, and build bridges between Yale’s first-year students and the vibrant community of New Haven. Together, we can make a difference and create lasting connections that extend far beyond our university walls.
