PAID MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Teach Students to Lead Community Projects

Job Description:

We’re looking for rockstar mentors with positive vibes and an enthusiasm for teaching young community leaders! Applicants are invited to help virtually teach a leadership curriculum that guides young students ages 14 – 18 to create their own end-to-end community projects anchored in sustainability, peer leadership, and social responsibility.

The Role:
Mentors will receive a stipend of up to $100 for every 1-hour session they lead ($80 base and $20 bonus), and can flexibly lead anywhere from 1 – 4 sessions per month. We’re looking for mentors to teach a leadership curriculum that guides young students ages 14 – 18 to create their own end-to-end community projects.

Responsibilities Include:
– Teaching students to spot community needs, forge community partnerships, mobilize their peers, and create sustainable and socially responsible initiatives
– Collaborating to co-develop class plans that guide students to make a positive impact  
– Leading & recording hour-long sessions for the cohort, with a mix of lecturing and guiding interactive & high-energy team-building activities (set Fridays from 5 — 6 pm PST)
– Gathering & incorporating end-of-session survey feedback from students to measure and achieve learning goals
