Our Mission:

SheCode partners with Yale Pathways to teach introductory programming skills to New Haven middle school and high school girls. We aim to lower the initial intimidation barrier of computer science and create a supportive environment where students of all backgrounds can learn, collaborate, and create something incredible.

This April, SheCode will be also teaching girls and nonbinary individuals from New Haven high schools how to code in python.

Activities

Seeds of Success Collaboration Direct Service We are collaborating with the New Haven program, Seeds of Success, a free program for sixth to eighth graders who are interested in STEMM. This workshop will cover the basics of Scratch and beyond! Yale Pathways to Science High School Python Conference Direct Service This two-day weekend workshop collaborates with Yale Pathways to Science to teach Python coding to high school students.
