The Living History Project is a Yale undergraduate volunteer initiative run through Yale-New Haven Hospital. Students conduct open-ended interviews with patients about their lives, their hopes, their values, and what they most want their medical team to know — writing up a narrative (a “living history”) and creating the opportunity for human connection and a better care experience.
