Boundless Literacy Inc., a nonprofit organization working in New Haven, is seeking a part-time student intern grant writer.
The right candidate for the role will have excellent research and written communication skills, a professional demeanor and be prompt and hard-working. The intern will find grant opportunities for the nonprofit, write grants, submit these for approval and apply on various forums.
The post will require about four or five hours per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right person, helping to develop a new nonprofit that provides literacy instruction to students in underserved districts. This position is eligible for a Service Award through Dwight Hall’s Community Response Fellows. This could also lead to a part-time paid position.
