The Urban Philanthropic Fund (Up Fund)

Our Mission:

The Urban Philanthropic Fund aims to foster collaboration between the finance and nonprofit sectors and train the next generation of investment managers, nonprofit leaders, and philanthropists. We seek to use finance to build and strengthen community through working with local New Haven nonprofits by providing funding and positioning them for larger grants.

Research & Public Policy Analysis
The UP Fund will give $3,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations in New Haven.

Pro Bono Nonprofit Consulting Services
Research & Public Policy Analysis
This semester, we are working with seven New Haven nonprofits to help them with fundraising strategy, social media strategy, volunteer engagement, and advocacy work.
