Our Mission:
The Urban Philanthropic Fund aims to foster collaboration between the finance and nonprofit sectors and train the next generation of investment managers, nonprofit leaders, and philanthropists. We seek to use finance to build and strengthen community through working with local New Haven nonprofits by providing funding and positioning them for larger grants.
Our Activities:
Partnerships with New Haven nonprofits
Direct Service
We partner with New Haven nonprofits to help them with programs such as building out their financial literacy education programs (e.g. Winning Ways) and fundraising (e.g. The Great Give). We also disburse microgrants to local nonprofits to support their local programming.
