Mission

YEP! is an entirely free entrepreneurship program for local high school students in New Haven. By inviting local students on campus to participate in an entrepreneurship incubator, YEP! hopes to develop the next generation of entrepreneurs and strengthen town-gown relations.

Activities

After-School Entrepreneurship Incubator Direct Service YEP! is an entirely free after-school education program for high school students from under-resourced communities. Founded in 2019 at Brown University, YEP! has now expanded to 6 college campuses. Our mission is to empower capable entrepreneurs, inspire confidence, and bridge the gap between universities and their local communities. By opening Yale?s doors to New Haven, YEP! aims to teach the entrepreneurial mindset to the next generation of change-makers. YEP! Direct Service After-School Entrepreneurship Incubator Direct Service YEP! is an entirely free after-school education program for high school students from under-resourced communities. By opening Yale’s doors to New Haven, YEP! aims to teach the entrepreneurial mindset to the next generation of change-makers. YEP! Incubator Social/Cultural/Team-Building Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP!) is a FREE program for New Haven high school students hosted by Yale University. Through weekly guest speakers, workshops, and Yale University mentors, students will learn how to apply the entrepreneurial mindset to solve problems that matter to them and their community! At the end of the program, every student will be able to pitch their idea to a panel of judges.
