YPEI Transcription Network Coordinator

Our beloved Transcription Network Coordinator is graduating! Through the Transcription Network, volunteers transcribe work that is handwritten by incarcerated students so that they have access to a typewritten/digital copy for assignment submission or for future use or application. The Transcription Network also transcribes otherwise inaccessible video or audio content (i.e. recorded lectures, podcasts, or on-campus events) so that it can be distributed to students in prison. 

We are looking for someone who can take over the network this semester and be trained by our outgoing coordinator so that they are prepared to lead it through next year (ideal candidate will be able to make a commitment of 1 year). This is a 2-3 hour/week commitment. To apply, click here.
