The Yale Pathways Summer Scholars Programs bring over 150 local…
Each year, the Yale Pathways Summer Scholars Program invites over 150 local New Haven public high school students to campus free of cost to take part in STEM and Arts & Humanities workshops with Yale faculty and graduate students. Workshops focus on neuroscience, chemistry, engineering, art-making, art history, comic art, college essay writing, and more. We are now seeking Teaching Assistants and Residential Advisors for this unique program. Previous work with youth is preferred but not required. Ideal candidates bring: maturity, enthusiasm, organizational skills, a sense of humor and genuine interest in working with local New Haven public school students.
Teaching Assistants supervise and mentor students and support faculty/graduate students in the classroom. July 1 – August 2nd, 8:30-4:30pm, $16.50/hour. Lunch included.
Residential Advisors supervise and mentor students, including planning and participating in college readiness programming. July 1 – July 19, shifts begin after 3pm, $1,600 plus room and board.
