As a Co-Director, you will collaborate with experienced educators on the U.S. Grant Board to create an engaging summer program for highly motivated middle school students from New Haven public and parochial schools. Your role will involve leading a cohort of teachers of other talented Yale undergraduates. This opportunity allows you to become part of a program with a rich history spanning 70 years, committed to fostering equitable, enriching, and enjoyable academic experiences.

Having personally experienced the role of Co-Director, we can attest to the immense fulfillment this opportunity offers. Crafting U.S. Grant’s programming and curriculum, in partnership with an outstanding teaching team, has not only enhanced our teaching skills but has also deepened our understanding of pedagogy, learning, and leadership. Additionally, engaging with board members, community members, and students has broadened our knowledge and love for New Haven, extending beyond the confines of the Yale Bubble.
