Cedarhurst School Yale Group

Our Mission:
At the Cedarhurst School, our overarching mission is to create a secure and nurturing learning environment that fosters success for adolescents. We are committed to integrating educational and therapeutic interventions, aiming to facilitate emotional and social growth essential for a smooth transition back to the home school district. Our ultimate goal is to empower students to graduate from high school, pursue college education, secure gainful employment, and evolve into productive, caring members of the community.

Our Activities:
Engage with our Cedarhurst School Yale Group, a dynamic initiative that provides direct service through weekly mentorship and support for special needs students in the critical phase of transitioning into adulthood. Our focus lies on the holistic development of social skills and independence.

Student Leaders:
Meet our dedicated student leaders who play pivotal roles in advancing our mission:

  • Mary Margaret Schroeder: Coordinator/President
  • Max Walker: Co-Coordinator/Co-President
